Apples are low in calories and are perfect fillers for many dishes and helps to bulk up your meal without the extra calories from other dishes that are usually added to a meal.  They are healthier than other options that you might add in a salad.  They’re high in Antioxidants and prevent oxidation.  Oxidation is exposure to oxygen which starts cellular decay within our bodies. Apples  allow you to detoxify your body and may even slow down your body’s aging process by changing the way your cells age at the deepest level. Apples are high in fibre and are good for your digestive system.  Most people don’t realize the importance of their digestive systems.  Apples contain essential vitamins.  It’s important that your diet includes a wide range of fruits and vegetables that allow you to get most of your daily requirements throughout the day and some doctors will still recommend supplements to round off and improve your diet.

Apple cider vinegar is made from fresh ripe apples that are fermented and undergo a stringent process to create the final product. The vinegar contains a host of vitamins, beta-carotene, pectin and vital minerals such as potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorous, chlorine, Sulphur, iron, and fluorine. Pectin in the vinegar is a fiber which helps reduce bad cholesterol and helps in regulating blood pressure. The need for calcium supplements once you start growing older is very well known. This vinegar helps extract calcium from the fruits, vegetables and meat it is mixed with, helping in the process of maintaining strong bones. Potassium deficiency causes a variety of ailments including hair loss, weak finger nails, brittle teeth, sinusitis, and a permanently running nose. Apple cider vinegar is loaded with potassium.  Lastly, I experienced the pain of an inflamed keloid. I went to my doctor and received injections which didn’t remedy the situation. I tried covering it with paper tape to avoid any irritation from clothing and then I heard someone talk about the effects apple cider vinegar had on reducing the size of their keloid and reducing the inflammation. It miraculously worked for me.
